Spotify increases prices for all Premium subscribers

 The Sweden-based music streaming stage Spotify has increased the costs for its superior membership across a few of its business sectors including the UK and the US.

Spotify has announced a price increase for users of the platform who pay for its Premium service.

Prices for the Premium service have increased for those who pay for multiple accounts too.

Apple Music, Peacock, Netflix, Max, and Paramount+ have also recently raised subscription prices.

The new Spotify Premium cost matches the monthly plans of competitors Apple Music and Amazon Music.

The company will continue to offer a free plan that includes advertising.
